For an art project in a design course our trio created the exhibit “Kopfsteinpflaster”. A pun in german, with “Kopfsteinpflaster” meaning cobblestone, but also containing the word “Kopf”, which means head.

Everyday we charge forward into tasks, often head on, careless, without thinking about the next step. Only when something happens, we stop and think.
“Kopfsteinpflaster” is a metaphor exhibit. People only stop walking, once they notice or step on the heads.
We wanted people to think more about carelessness: Do I notice the “head” only when it’s too late?
