Creation of a wooden sculpture as part of a sculpting course.

I carved a wooden hand coming out of a smartphone, with a splash around the hand.
The sculpture shows a drowning person, who is getting sucked into the smartphone.
Their hand tries to reach out of the smartphone, grasping at nothing to hold.

It symbolizes a person, who is addicted to social media and who is being devoured by their “doom-scrolling”.
